Moana is a locally owned surf school founded in 2020 and based at Thomas Beach. Lessons are split by experience rather than folded into one broad format. Beginners build confidence, balance and a reliable pop-up; intermediates work on reading waves, catching them independently and turning. Capable shortboarders can book private advanced guiding, while longboard sessions cover cross-steps, positioning and rail control. The exact time is confirmed around tides and conditions.
